<image:caption>Following a scriptwriting workshop, several of our members decided to write their own short play-lets. We wanted to group them together and so we came up with the theme of ‘The Seven Deadly Sins’. Each play represented one sin, with God and the Devil betting on how things would play out. Each death was followed by a Check-in at the pearly gates - to see whether the final destination was Heaven or Hell. Tara Preston played the Devil and Richard Pett played God.</image:caption>

<image:title>Home - All new may hill players drama club ‘thursday thespians’</image:title>
<image:caption>After the dizzy heights of our Panto, ‘Rapunzel’, we thought we’d quite like to start a Drama Club, to keep everyone ticking over between productions! After all, you bond as a group when you are performing and then it all sort of, well, stops. Thus was born the idea for ‘Thursday Thespians’. A monthly club, starting on Thursday 30th April 2026 at May Hill Village Hall 7:30-9:30pm. It’s £5 for adults and £2 for under 16s to be paid in cash only, on the night. We won’t be giving change, so please bring the correct money. Marie, Debbie and Clair are ‘running’ it from an organisational/structural point of view but this is absolutely NOT about us ‘teaching’ you! It’s about all of us collaborating and working together to improve our skills, share our knowledge and experience and encourage all of us to be braver and try new things in a non-judgemental and relaxed environment. So, there’ll be lots of trial and error but the big message is that we hope it’ll be fun and we want your (constructive) input. There’s no space for negativity in this club, my friends! Now all that’s been cleared up, we really hope to see you on the maiden voyage in a couple of weeks!</image:caption>
